One of the best things about living in California is the weather… and how it allows us to be outdoor pretty much most weeks of the year. A great thing about living on the peninsula is the bike-friendliness of the area. Commuting has been a great way to incorporate exercise while only taking just a bit longer to get to work. Another thing, I get to save on gas.

Now that daylight savings is back, I’m back to riding before the sun is up. However, that makes for great scene’s over Crystal Springs Reservoir. Luckily, I get to ride on Canada road and Foothill for most of my route.
The route is pretty straight-forward until the end where there is a little bit of street traffic and no bike lanes on Old Middlefield and Rengstorff.
