Commuting to Work

One of the best things about living in California is the weather… and how it allows us to be outdoor pretty much most weeks of the year. A great thing about living on the peninsula is the bike-friendliness of the area.  Commuting has been a great way to incorporate exercise while only taking just a bit longer to get to work. Another thing, I get to save on gas.

Traffic is terrible… even when taking the shuttle…

This view is much better 🙂

Now that daylight savings is back, I’m back to riding before the sun is up. However, that makes for great scene’s over Crystal Springs Reservoir. Luckily, I get to ride on Canada road and Foothill for most of my route.

The route is pretty straight-forward until the end where there is a little bit of street traffic and no bike lanes on Old Middlefield and Rengstorff.
